Hello! My name is Heather Leggett. I'm basically just a big goofball at heart (just look at the photos for an idea, haha). I've been into photography for about 20 years now (ok, that makes me sound really old! LOL). I started out taking over as the family photographer when I was 11 yrs old and now I am taking pictures of my own children every chance I get. I think it's so important to have pictures to document your family's life, little moments and big ones. After all, it's all about the journey isn't it?
I hope you enjoy my blog! Here you'll find client sneak peeks, info on pricing and specials, as well as my own personal photographs as I document my family's moments. Feel free to leave a comment or contact me for more information, questions, or to book a session. Have a wonderful day!!

Congratulations to Mark and Erin who were wed on Saturday! It was a beautiful day filled with so much love and joy! It was such a pleasure to witness their love and be a part of their day. They were such troopers following me all over the downtown area to get the perfect shots. They even endured the crowds of Oktoberfest! It was quite the spectacle, everyone kept cheering for them as we walked through the crowds. It was really sweet to see the community so happy for this wonderful couple. Here are a few images from the day!

I had a fun shoot with Meg on Friday evening! She’s a very sweet and beautiful girl! We met at one of my favorite spots, the downtown area of Bend! We started out taking a few shots in nearby Drake Park to get a few fun sunflare shots by the river, then we moved to the fun alleys of the downtown area. So much fun! Here’s a sneak peek of our session!
This is my fave!! Love the sass and grunge! What a rock star!!

I had the wonderful priveledge of witnessing and photographing a proposal on Thursday! It was so amazing!! This couple is from Texas and the groom to be organized a surprise trip to Oregon for his girl on their anniversary! They went on a dig to Richardson’s Rock Ranch, where I played a guide and rock expert so as not to give away the surprise. It was so fun! The ring was hidden inside an amethyst geode, which I planted and directed her to. She pryed it open to find the real “rock” inside! It was such a great moment!! Afterward we met up at Smith Rock for an official engagement session. It was a wonderful day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it! Here are a few pictures from our day!
Judd and Thuy, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!

Congratulations to Scott & Robin! I had the privledge of photographing their beautiful wedding on Friday at Aspen Hall in Shevlin Park. It was a gorgeous day and everything turned out perfectly! Here are some pictures from their special day!
Scott & Robin, I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon and I hope you love the pictures!!
I have so much fun hanging with the girls while they’re getting ready beforehand. Here’s a few fun ones from our afternoon…
Pretty toes, that matched the beautiful bridesmaid’s dresses!

I love lashes shots, Robin’s were gorgeous! As was her beautiful hair!

The bride getting some help from her bridesmaids, mom and grandma, perfecting the details.

The cake… I love how simple, yet elegant it was.

Video recording by the father of the groom…

And some of my FAVORITE pictures of the day… (I always save the best for last, haha)… The bride and groom opted to do a “First Look” before the wedding ceremony. I absolutely LOVED this idea. We were able to usher the rest of the wedding party and family away to Aspen Hall while the bride and groom met on the bridge to have a moment alone to steal their first glances before the ceremony. It was so sweet, I got totally choked up and teary eyed! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the moment….
Anticipation… Scott waiting to turn and look at his bride for the first time on their wedding day…
